IPG's founder, Dave Bannister has spent the whole of his 30+ year career so far, in technology R&D and IP development and management. Having worked in organisations ranging from Europe's largest technology R&D organisation, to a 2-person start-up, and having been responsible for over 100 individual patent filings worldwide (including several of his own) he has witnessed at first-hand, the relative difficulties faced by smaller companies in maintaining and growing a valuable IP portfolio. 

Dave has experience in filing patents and achieving grant in the UK, the US, Europe, Canada, South Africa, Russia, China, Japan, the Middle East and several other territories. He has managed portfolios and licensing strategies for and on behalf of companies large and small, as well as being first named inventor on three worldwide patent families, granted in all major territories.

Dave's wealth of experience in working with fellow inventors, patent attorneys and investors in devising and implementing strong, affordable and defendable IP portfolios forms the bedrock on which IPG was founded.
